Discover some of nature’s hidden colour!

For thousands of years plants have been used to dye fibre and fabric and a beautiful natural palette is available today using local weeds without the need for harmful chemicals. This hands-on workshop introduces a selection of local colour possibilities, as well as discussing fibre types, mordanting options and dye safety. Shibori techniques will also be used to produce patterned cloth.

Venue:   Castlemaine Continuing Education. 30 Templeton Street.

Date:     Friday 13 March 10 am to 4 pm.
